Birthday parties normally are not that fun around my birthday because everyone is out of town in July! And this year my 16th birthday was definitely not the one to have a party on since I was traveling a majority of the day (going down to Florida to catch a cruise). But the amazing American Airlines crew of Reagan and Orlando International Airports proved me wrong and brought the party to me!🤩 The first surprise was that one of the monitors by the check-in counter at the air
My favorite part about Hawaii (besides the beach) was going to the Polynesian Culture Center! It is this educational theme park about Hawaii and the other Polynesian islands. The islands they focus on are Samoa, Tahiti, Hawai'i, Aotearoa (New Zealand), Fiji, and Tonga. Also, in July they did an exclusive exhibit on the Cook Islands! So the culture center provides buses that will take you from a nearby location of your hotel to the park. The ride there is about an hour away fr
Here is my first post about Paris!! Le Soufflé was one of my favorite restaurants in Paris! And I'm pretty sure you can already guess what this restaurant is famous for 😂 Le Soufflé has a wide selection of soufflés whether it is sweet or savory! There was amazing natural lighting in the restaurant as well! A majority of the restaurants in Paris were very small (yet cozy) establishments so instead of a foyer that you would see in the US, your table can be right next to the fr
Third Time is the Charm at the Hirshhorn Museum! Yes, three times before I got tickets to go to Yayoi Kusama's famous exhibit! I have done my research (yes, overachiever status) and about 71,000 people try to get tickets while there are only about 7,000 tickets available. These tickets run out fast so I am very grateful for this beautiful and colorful opportunity! I am pretty sure you were not ready for how mesmerizing, complex, and colorful you thought Kusama's exhibit was
I loved walking everywhere in New Orleans! The buildings are so amazing and most of the colorful infrastructure were houses!! I walked past this gate on my way to a museum and I am pretty sure it was a mansion. But a fountain?! I hope to reach this level of success one day! :) My all time favorite street in New Orleans was Charles Street! If you are sick of walking in the heat hop on a Street Car for $2.50 (exact change) and don't fall out the window ;) Enjoy the scenery too!
Right after our whole group checked into our hotel we went straight to lunch! There was this little restaurant called Dress It right across the street and if you live in Virginia, you can think of it as a Foster's Grille ... except Foster's doesn't have veggie burgers :(( So this is what the menu looked like and as you can see I ordered a veggie burger with sprouts, cheddar, tomatoes, red onion, and a side of some tater tots!! I was so excited to get my food (especially the t
